We can’t thank you enough for the wonderful vacation you arranged for us. The itinerary was terrific, the lodges and the food were wonderful and the birds were plentiful – 262 species on the checklist. But most of all, we want to make sure you know how thoroughly satisfied we were with Rudy as our guide. We did indeed love him as you said we would. His skills as a birder were impressive. His knowledge of other flora and fauna and the history and culture of Costa Rica were invaluable. But most of all, his enthusiasm and charm made the whole trip a pleasure. It was a pleasure to meet you and spend a day at the Waterfall Gardens where we saw more hummingbirds in a couple of hours than we have ever seen in our lives. Virgen Socorro was nice also, especially the Howler monkeys watching us as intently as we were watching the Broad-winged Hawk.
